Flare Gas : Recovery or Recycling
Flare Gas Recovery or Recycling
Introduction
In today’s world, with growing concerns about environmental issues and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the use of innovative methods for managing flare gases has become increasingly important. Flare gases, mainly produced by the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, have many negative effects on the environment due to incomplete combustion and the emission of harmful pollutants. In this article, we examine two important approaches to flare gas management, namely Flare Gas Recovery and Flare Gas Recycling.
- Flare Gas Recovery
Flare gas recovery refers to a process in which flare gases are collected and, after treatment and processing, are used as fuel or raw materials in various industries. By reducing the emission of harmful gases into the atmosphere, this method helps to preserve the environment and also leads to economic savings by making optimal use of hydrocarbon resources.
- Flare Gas Recycling
Flare gas recycling refers to a process in which flare gases, after collection and treatment, are returned to the production cycle. This method helps to improve the efficiency of the production process by reducing the consumption of raw materials and energy, and it is also economically cost-effective.
